Marketing is the opposite of hiding your light under a bushel.
While it's easy to take your product or venue for granted, if you've ever had anyone say to you, "Wow - I didn't know this existed", your marketing isn't doing what it should. This week I had a "wow" moment at the gorgeous Indooroopilly Golf Club (above).
Don't be squeamish or shy - the odds are good that there are customers out there that will gladly consume content showcasing your venue/product/service/ability.
You just need to showcase and entertain - not demand or bash them over the head with it.
